WHY CAN’T PEOPLE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS?
YOU: Hey buddy how do you boil an egg?
US: Just do what we taught you while in training. Place your eggs in a pot and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover, remove from the heat and set aside 8 to 10 minutes. Drain, cool in ice water and peel.
YOU: Great Thank you.
(5 minutes later)
YOU: Hey buddy it didn’t work my egg exploded.
US: Did you follow the plan I gave you?
YOU: No I tried something on my own I just put the egg in a bowl and water and microwaved it. It exploded quickly so I tried it several more times but got the same results. What do I do?

(15 minutes later)
YOU: I guess I am not cut out to cook I just can’t get it right. I don’t understand, when I was training I made perfect eggs.
US: Did you do what we taught you?
YOU: No. I did my own thing and can’t figure out why it won’t work.
US: (Bang heads on walls)
In our business success is not a goal or a destination, it’s a MINDSET you tackle to reach your goals. You don’t just forget it once you have reached your goals. You adopt it so you can carry it with you for a lifetime. Success honestly isn’t an easy feat to accomplish.
That’s why we spend so much time with you in the All Star Motivation Training Program.
Weeks of letting you lead and take charge. Most of you if not all of you thrived in our office when you where just starting out in our location running your own business. You ran it and we helped you by setting the right example. You had a front row center seat into the best people to ever do this business. Billy and I trained you on every aspect of it and you watched it work while you were here.
You watched us do 1000’s of bottles a week, promote you, and drop down to around 500 bottles a week. What happened after you left your building and got to your building? Answer: In just a few short weeks later we started doing 1000 bottles or more a week again. So what happens when you get to your own location and you don’t do what you where taught? Why when you ran your business with us in this building you had money, bills got paid, people got paid, you got new whips, new places to live, pretty much was on your way to success until you got your own location and it all blew up on you.
I guess that’s human nature. You look for short cuts, quick fixes and schemes and even though those methods may have a temporary fix, you are pretty much setting your self up for failure because those methods become incredibly ineffective and extremely expensive.
It can get pretty frustrating for us because we want you all to not just succeed here but in all aspects of your life. To do that you have to return to the basics. We where doing 1000-1200 a week just a few months ago. We promoted 2 more buildings and dropped to 500 and now here we are at 700+ working our way back to 1000. How? Simple, Billy saw what he needed to do and he went on crew. That’s right the President of All Star Motivation who built a staff of people that can take crews so he doesn’t have to didn’t care, he knew for this office to get back to 1000 he had to train. So he did. How that was created was simple, he and I recruited, he took a crew, I recruited, we recruited then he took a crew. Add Chad, Mishelle and our GunSlinger Maria and that created 6 new managers and back on track for 1000. Since we aren’t there yet he is recruiting this week and out on crew next and I will recruit again until we get there. He does this and all the other things we taught you.
There are no magic bullets here to get you where you want to be. There is just what we taught you. If you want the same results as us you have to do what we do, everything else is just madness. 1996 is when I started in this business. That’s 22 years. I have written this bulletin many times with different wording and text but the results are the same. People will still try and boil an egg in their microwave and wonder why it won’t work.
