First, let me apologize to all the fans of this newsletter, I am truly sorry that my post have been lacking this year. I have done a lot of soul searching this year. It has been a year of change for me. I wanted this journey to show all of you that you can do anything that you put your mind to. In November of 2018 I weighed in at an enormous 409 LBS. Fast forward to November 2019, (really its 10-28-19), and I am tipping the scales at 267 lbs. That’s right folks, 142 Lbs in one year. It’s awesome right. So what is your excuse with anything? So sorry you have no new people, recruit some. So sorry you have bills do, go make sales. So why aren’t you doing 500 consistently yet? You can do anything you put your mind to. Anything. Especially since we lead the way, right? We have consistently done 700-1000 sales every week now for like 10 years. We do exactly what we taught you! Anyway, I digress.
I have observed all of you this last year and if I am being truthful, nothing you have done has inspired me to really write. All I get are excuses and reasons why things aren’t going your way. So, sorry not sorry, for not posting or writing. It seems though, that the President of All Star Motivation is pretty upset at me. He says there are more than just All Star Motivation people who follow this and they deserve content. Good content. That being said, you may or may not like what I have to say. Since the year is getting close to being over I am going to be brutally honest with you, all of you. Here are some brutal truths you need to learn and start living with right now. So again, Sorry not sorry.
A personal and a business adage holds that one should never tell people your troubles because “half don’t care about your problems and the rest are glad that you have them.” Lou Holtz
Your actions speak louder than your words, so you need to hold yourself accountable.
Be responsible and take actions that increase positivity and growth.
You can’t make everyone happy, and if you try, you’ll lose yourself.
Stop trying to please everyone, and start respecting your position as a boss, if you aren’t a boss start being one. It’s that easy. Success doesn’t care who likes you.
Your talent means nothing without consistent effort and practice.
Some of the most talented people in the world never move out from their parent’s basement.
Now is the only time that matters, so stop wasting it by ruminating on the past or worrying about your future.
You can’t control the past, and you can’t predict the future, and trying to do so only removes you from the one thing you can control–the present. Doesn’t mean don’t plan your future it means work in the present for that future.
Your words and your actions are more important than your thoughts, so start inspiring people.
Words have the power to oppress, hurt, and shame, but they also have the power to liberate and inspire–start using them more wisely, then show people with your actions. Practice what you preach and they will follow you into the fire.
It’s not what happens, it’s how you react that matters.
Train yourself to respond in a way that leads to better outcomes. Think before you act with every decision. Think like a boss even if you aren’t yet. Yet.
Time is your most valuable asset–you need to prioritize how you spend it.
You have the power and responsibility to decide what you do with the time you have, so choose wisely. Most of you don’t and that’s why you are in the situation you are in. Get better.
Investing in yourself isn’t selfish. It’s the most worthwhile thing you can do.
Don’t be a waisted investment. You matter. What is your worth? We invested in you, start being a blue chip instead of a penny saver.
Pleasure is temporary and fleeting, so stop chasing fireworks and start building a constellation.
Don’t settle for an ego boost right now when you can delay gratification and experience deeper fulfillment. Some of you have one good week then put your feet up on your desk like you have accomplished something. Then the money runs out and you panic. Build your future.
Your ambition means nothing without execution–it’s time to put in the work.
If you want to change your world, then you have to go out and do it! Let me say this again. If you want to call yourself a boss, then be a freaking boss. The title means nothing when you do nothing. Execute your plan every day.
Nobody cares how difficult your life is, Nobody.
Stop looking for people to give you sympathy, and to join your pity party. Be the example people look to when they are at their lowest point. Guess what? Life is freaking hard. Running a business is harder. If it wasn’t everyone would do it. Shut up and go to work. You got promoted for a reason. Show everyone why. Show yourself why.
There you go Mr. President hope you enjoy it! More content coming soon! EW
