Let’s get deep for a second. Why are you here? What are you trying to accomplish? How long have you been “trying”? How frustrated do you get?
These are all questions we get asked or have even asked ourselves. It’s called being human. We ask these questions when things aren’t working in our favor. It’s funny when things are clicking and we are jamming we never ask questions like that. I guess the main one we get a lot is: “Before you became successful, what keep you going in hard times?”
That struggle you are in, it becomes hard to see any path to success, but you have us. How do you keep going? You embrace the suck. You continue to move forward. You listen to us because we have been there. Billy, Chad, myself, we want to help you have your vision guide you, not the current circumstances you are in. Embrace those challenges and use us as the mentors you need to help you cut that learning curve in half. If you are in my building, you not only have us all the time, you also have Maria, Angel and Sheyten. These awesome people were made team leaders and are here for a reason; to help you succeed and help All Star Motivation grow. We all know that a smart person learns from their mistakes, as all successful people do, but those who are on another level learn from others mistakes as well. You all need to learn that fast. Every mistake you are making we have tried to keep you from making. You thought you knew better, you didn’t follow the plan we gave you, you altered the plan to meet your needs, whatever it was and now you are still making those mistakes. That’s the difference between the struggle and success. You can’t grow because you are wasting time by continuing to make those same mistakes over and over and over….. It’s a vicious, never ending cycle of failure.
If you want to stop struggling you have to be very clear on who you are, who you aren’t, and who you need to get out of the mess you are in. It starts with who you are allowing to influence you. If you have losers in your circle of influence, whether your significant other, old dogs in your business, friends, family, you will emulate their loser qualities and so will your business. I got clear on who I was, who I wasn’t, and who I needed to get out of the mess I was in. Lastly, I shifted my circle of influence and started connecting with those that had the results I was striving for. They helped me raise my standards, and start thinking at a higher level. The trick was when I was given a plan exactly as it was given to me. I didn’t alter it to fit my needs, I didn’t half ass it. When I did, I failed, when I didn’t, I had a great week, month and year. I followed the plan of the owner I wanted to be and it worked. You can too!
All of you in the training program, as well as independent owners, need to realize that no matter where you are right now, you can always take it up a notch. Your possibilities are endless when you find enough compelling reasons. The goal is to create a “why” so strong that it pulls you through any challenge, past all doubters and over even your own limitations. We’re in an economy that now welcomes the entrepreneur. It’s become easier to realize your ideal future. It just takes compelling reasons, clear intentions, and the right guidance to turn the dream into a reality. Stop wasting time and let us be that guide. Your success is All Star Motivations Success and that in the end is what we are trying to achieve.
One of my favorite quotes is from Kevin Eatman a VP for the Clippers he says, talking about what separated the good players from the superstars; “They, (superstars), do the work that’s un-required.” It seems these days not just with people in our training program but those running their own locations want praise and recognition for doing what is required of them, and what everybody else does. I got some bad news for you, everyone wakes up early, everyone works extra hours, everyone has passion for something. The real question is; What will you do that others aren’t willing to do?
My dad would say, “you work from 9-5 to survive, everything after is the real investment in your future.”
What are you willing to invest in your success? You can start by following a simple plan. If you want one all you have to do is ask.
We want you to succeed more than you do. It’s frustrating and rewarding all at the same time. The future is linked to those who are willing to grind for the prize of success. Who are you?
